But because they'll be so well mannered and laid back, it probably won't happen.

And then the Africans would have so much oil, they'll be having the richests of wealth. But they won't need the Western world to cause them turmoil, cause they'll be already having civil wars by then. Plus the Western world is now Malaysian, therefore nothing is really gonna happen. The Arabs however will have their legs trained from running around barefooted and never again ride those camels.

This is all but a pure childish imagination of mine. Of course sociologically, these are not possible but just perhaps to a certain extent due to environment factors.

Just a random thought.

Back to studying

Malaysian Artist For Unity - Here In My Home

This is one amazing video, brainchild-ed by the very amazing Pete Teo. Aroused by the idea of 'home' during his trip to Australia, he gathered talents from all around Malaysia comprising of artists, celebrities, actors/actresses, musicians, business entrepreneurs, students, footballers and even a flourist, to work on the song and video.

And who better to direct a peace-loving-home-style video other than Yasmin Ahmad. And when you thought that was all great, things just gets better. The whole thing is FREE for consumption!!

For someone who has been away from home, this video sure packed a whole loads of emotions of rindu, and yes..I am very much rindu with my country, my home. This is definitely a present from back home. Thank you people. Can't wait to get back woooootts!!!!

Kay kay enough yapping, heres the vid

Well done Pete

And speaking of home, I am deeply saddened by the events that are taking place in Burma. I have Burmese coursemates who are restless and uneasy especially since this the exam period. I offer all my bestest of prayers to the victims and thus tomorrow I shall light a candle in front of my window in accordance to the Global Day of Action for Burma's Cyclone Victims.

May they rest in peace
Facebook gives me good news!
Exam starts in less than 6 hours, and I'm here still awake with my screwed up bodyclock.

Anyways, horoscope on facebook says

Aquarius: You'll finally be able to put what you need into words, and share it with the person who can give it to you.

And yes, I will put all those 23 equations I memorized into paper making the best possible word combinations I can make, and hopefully to share it with the examiner who in return can give me what I need - high marks!!

I really hope you're telling me the truth Facebook.

Boku ni gambatte!! I really can't study intensively when I don't have that kinda pressure at the back of my head. Slowly it'll creep to my bones...and sooner or later it'll be itching to break the nearest object..

On an frustrating note, I ARGHHHHHATEEEEEE STRUCTURES!!!!! Seriously, the notes are everywhere. Equations are missing (or rather misplaced in different topics), and some of them are even incorrect!! Weird numbers suddenly appearing, and you're expected to know where they're from. Guess what, I dont care where the fuck you came from. Which means I'm pretty much fucked. Can't structure notes be anymore structured??? The worst handouts to receive ever are the ones with more diagrams and numbers than words. warrghhhhHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

This is not going well for me.

Animes I PAWN

This is a random post. I'm gonna try and list ALL the anime that I've watched or am watching for my entire life. So here goes without any particular order. And now its still the same. Exams are approaching and I'm guessing little bored me will start ranting here again. Soooo I dunno who still visits this place, but whoever you are, am sorry for the non-existing entries

Today's entry is about this Malaysian singer/songwriter Koko Kaina who my bud Rashdan intro-ed me to on youtube. She's been called the Marie Digby of Malaysia, but personally I prefer Koko's style of singing. And also plus that teeny weeny fact thats shes Malaysian bred (shadddap I'm biased )

Simple repetitive progression, a sweet nursing voice, and unique singing style is what makes her a youtube sensation (she's had a vid featured on youtube feature). But her true gift in my opinion is her ability to write lyrics. Good rhyming lyrics are hard to come by these days, but shes managed to pull it off with pleasing and comfortable melodies to go with it. Though my writing cant express much, heres a link to one of her vids. Also my favorite

I showed this video to two of my housemates and both shed tears. Not surprising. I bet you will too, especially if you've had that 'someone' you used to know. She doesn't show her face on most of her vids for the reason of wanting people to focus on the feel of the song rather than her face, which she assured is nothing much. All of us beg to differ

Oh oh apparently shes been signed under Jack Johnson's label!! She is supposedly to record an album with his band in L.A. Like...omgwtfbbq!!!!!!!! I hope she makes it big in the states, but not soon so that she can play a few gigs in KL this summer and then I could watch when I come back

Wooo..nice first post. *pats on own back*. More to come..

Oh bother..
Waltz Of A Seasoned Man

There was this man of faith
He pledged a winter's oath
But in the end he cried for summer
Where roses bloomed of lies

He preached of truth and just
Sinners alike engulfed
But where he stood of blood and bullets
Which left an autumm's trail

He paints the pale moon bright
With colours of beer and wine
But when he speaks he coughs unwilling
Of scarcely puffy clouds

RZ - 2008

PS3 you she-devil

Sexy and proportionate. Visual candy. Addictive. Definitely a she-devil but in a black, compressed box. And yes, this little bitch has robbed me of my life (facebook, guitar, facebook) and to that extent my so called new blogging life. Hence the little update, rather none at all.

This pandora's box was bought an hour after my last paper ended. Feeling angry at my last paper (paper was pundekly hard!!!), I felt the need to cheer myself up and being the randomly-impulse me, I went to town...stormed the rain too, and later found myself in the middle of GAME shop. Went up to the nearest nerd on shift and said 'Can I buy a PS3?' with a straight face. 'Sure!!' he said. Bought it for 347 quid with free 3 original games (Assasin's Creed, Heavenly Sword, Kane and Lynch). It costs that much to cheer me up. Wonderful.

Anyways, exams had ended earlier than official time. So I had a week off. Below are short snippets for that week.

Finished playing Heavenly Sword (awesome cinematics!)
Holidayed in London, at my 2nd home (thanks Azrul)
Got my 2nd guitar back
Picked up friend's sister from Heathrow and sending her to Victoria Bus Station while having a full body work out with her 2 tonnes bag (thank you Lila for the temp storage)
Got an interesting -ve comment on my singing. Hrmmmm...
Received an invitation to do an opening act for someone unexpected (will blog this soon if confirmed)
Recorded a new song 'Waltz of a Seasoned Man' at Azrul's gempaqs home studio!
Hosted Azizul over in Notts. Good guest. He rolled up my sleeping bag after usage. Note to future guests.
Spent great time with friends I care

The last snippet is rather the theme of that week. I truly appreciate the company of friends. Especially if you know the appreciation is both ways. Ok, enough of the soft me.

Things are getting dimmer now that term has started again. Last semester for me before I finally return for good to Malaysia. Am still an Amsterdam virgin. Dang.

Class starting soon.

DoRaEMon~~

My very favourite cat with the ever so wondrous pouch. I can bet that there are more Malaysians out there who knows doraemon's theme song than theme songs of the likes of ninja turtles, power rangers, mcguyver, or even barney the purple gay. Go Japan!.

Recently I've just discovered something reaaally interesing. I was at an indonesian friend's house chilling about with a few of other malaysians, when we started talking about old cartoons (see how cartoons can be a good social tool?). And we found out that our version of the dubbed doraemon in bahasa malaysia uses different terminology than their dubbed version of doraemon in bahasa indonesia!!

You remember that red pinkish door that leads you to wherever you want? like how nobita can wind up in shizuka's bathtub? (and EVERY single time she just HAPPENS to be bathing?) well yeah. That door, we call it Pintu Suka Hati. And my indonesian fellas started bursting out laughing mcm setan kena geletek when they heard that.

As ive understand, to them the word suka hati is pretty much used like....whatever(!) kinda thing you know..probably the same as how we use it. But for us, we started out laughing like ducks when we heard their version! They call it Pintu Ke Mana Aja!!!!! I'm gonna be abit bias and say that this is even more hillarious!!
